THE BEST Coffee in the World!!
My husband is a coffee snob!!! He has looked & looked for THE BEST coffee for YEARS. After 17 years in the Army, spending time in Korea & Iraq, we moved to Southern California. He boycotts Starbucks & no matter what other coffeehouses he tried, he just COULDN'T find that coffee that made the angels sing!! On a last ditch effort, he tried "It's a Grind". He tried the High Octane as he likes his coffee with a kick!! He INSTANTLY fell in love!! He is a black coffee man all the way...no "foo foo coffee" for him...High Octane is PERFECT!! For 4 years, he would grind his own beans to get that perfect cup of coffee...see, Coffee Snob!! Unfortunately, he was laid off & due to his job, we were forced to move to Kentucky. There isn't an "It's a Grind" here...OH MY GOD!! After searching for a High Octane substitute, we realized we could order High Octane from the "It's a Grind" website!! Thank you for keeping my Coffee Snob happy!!

Bold Without Bitter
Mary's review is spot on. I won some of this in a raffle, and was pleasantly surprised (having never tried IAG). It's bold without being bitter or acidic, with a clean finish. I agree with the "medium" body in their description ... it's not as heavy as one might expect for such a dark roast. I'd rank the aroma lower (say 2), though it comes through more in the beans than the brew (which I don't feel detracts from the flavor, so it's more observation than critique). If you like dark roasts, give this a try.

High Octane is the Best Ever
I have been looking for "THE" best cup of coffee since 1972, when I drank some delicious coffees in Mexico, only to be disappointed on a return trip a few years later as instant Nescafe was all the rage.
This High Octane blend was chosen on a fluke, since my husband and I have been continuing the search through the years - shops, mailorder, Costco, Starbucks, ... we try anything. The clerk was hesitant says it was like a DOUBLE roasted French Roast and had us try some - we did and liked it. Now after making it in the hotel room in the Mr. Coffee Pot even - we lOVE it. NO burned taste nor bitterness, even with an oaky sweetness, fresh tasting with a lingering smooth full bodied aftertaste - no sharp Bite.
We usually drink coffee black, yet even a little cream enhances the taste - making a beautiful pinkish dark tan glow.
If you have been searching for "THE" cup of coffee, try this!
